Mittel
Mittel is a Milan-listed evergreen investment holding (Borsa Italiana, ticker MIT) tracing its corporate origins to 1885 and adopting the Mittel name in 1969. Historically a Bazoli-era merchant bank, from 2016 it refocused on permanent-capital private equity, taking majority stakes in cash-generative Italian mid-market SMEs across bathroom ceramics, apparel, automotive components and PVC windows, alongside a legacy real-estate arm. Group net asset value was about 259 million euros at end-2023. In 2024-2025 Lake Bidco, controlled by reference shareholders Rossano Stocchi and Marco Colacicco, launched a tender offer to delist the company from Piazza Affari.
