Alkemia SGR is an Italian lower-mid-market asset manager based in Milan with a legal seat in Padova, offering private equity, venture capital and PIPE (private-investment-in-public-equity) capital to small and medium-sized enterprises. It was founded as NEM SGR under Banca Popolare di Vicenza, renamed Alkemia in 2018, and is now controlled by Kite Holding, managing around EUR 270 million. Historically it ran the NEM Imprese private equity funds and the mezzanine Industrial Opportunity Fund, and has since launched the Sinergia Venture Fund, a PIPE fund, and the Amarone and Food Excellence buyout vehicles.
