Viessmann Generations Group
Viessmann Generations Group is the Allendorf-based family-equity and holding platform of the Viessmann family, recast as a dedicated investment vehicle after the family sold Viessmann Climate Solutions to Carrier for EUR 12 billion in a deal announced in April 2023 and closed in January 2024. It deploys permanent family capital into majority control platforms in energy infrastructure and clean-and-cold technology, takes significant minority co-investments alongside sponsors such as KKR and EQT, and makes generational commitments across real estate, forestry, agriculture and renewables. The group also owns FGTC Investment, a Munich multi-family office and asset manager that runs an LP and fund-of-funds book, and channels philanthropy through the Viessmann Foundation. It is led by fourth-generation CEO and President Max Viessmann.
