Castik Capital is a European private equity firm founded in June 2014 by Michael Phillips and partners spinning out of Apax, investing through its EPIC fund family: EPIC I (EUR 1bn, 2015), the EPIC I-b single-asset continuation fund (EUR 700m, 2021), EPIC II (EUR 1.25bn, 2020) and EPIC III (EUR 2bn, 2024). The fund manager is seated in Luxembourg while the 28-strong investment advisory team operates from Munich, which anchors the firm in Germany under an operational-headquarters view. Castik manages around EUR 5bn and backs European platform companies in software, services, industrials and healthcare.
