Vaekst-Invest Nordjylland is a regional private-equity investor based in Aalborg, founded in January 2008, focused on small and mid-sized companies in Jutland, Denmark. It takes active minority and majority stakes through growth capital, generational ownership transfers and MBO/MBI in companies with revenue up to about DKK 150m, across industrials, consumer, software and healthcare. The firm is backed by North Jutland banks and savings-bank foundations (Spar Nord, Nykredit, Sparekassen Vendsyssel and others) plus the Danish state fund Vaekstfonden/EIFO, and runs two closed funds, Fond I (2008) and Fond II (2021), with combined committed capital of about DKK 300m.
