CDP Equity
CDP Equity is the evergreen strategic-equity arm of Italian state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, wholly owned by CDP and created in 2011 as Fondo Strategico Italiano before its 2016 rename. It invests patient, permanent capital in large Italian companies of strategic national interest, taking both control and significant minority stakes across industrials, energy, telecom and financial infrastructure and healthcare. Its portfolio, valued at roughly 15 billion euro, includes Ansaldo Energia, Fincantieri, Open Fiber, Nexi, Webuild, Saipem and Autostrade per l'Italia. It is distinct from sister arms CDP Venture Capital and CDP Real Asset.
