Renaissance Partners
Renaissance Partners is a Milan- and Luxembourg-based private equity firm and one of the leading Italian-led mid-large buyout platforms, managing over 3.5 billion euro of commitments. It was established in 2015 as a spin-off of Intesa Sanpaolo Private Equity in partnership with Neuberger Berman under the NB Renaissance brand; the Italian management team led by Fabio Cane took majority control from Neuberger Berman in 2024-2025 and rebranded to Renaissance Partners, with Neuberger Berman retaining a minority stake. The firm backs market-leading, primarily family-owned Italian companies across four themes: information technology and professional services, specialized industrials, environmental sustainability, and healthcare.
