Aurora Growth Capital (formerly NB Aurora) is an Italian-led growth private-equity investor structured as a Luxembourg SICAV-RAIF permanent-capital (evergreen) vehicle, managed by Renaissance AIFM and run from Milan. Founded in 2018 as the first permanent-capital vehicle listed on Borsa Italiana (IPO May 2018), it delisted and rebranded to Aurora Growth Capital in 2025 after management led by Patrizia Micucci bought out Neuberger Berman, which retains about 10 percent. It invests roughly EUR 10-60m of growth and expansion capital for majority or active-minority stakes in Italian SME niche leaders with EUR 30-300m revenues, frequently co-investing alongside its sister platform Renaissance Partners. AUM is approximately EUR 500m across about a dozen portfolio companies generating circa EUR 3bn of aggregate revenue.
