Lunar Ventures
Lunar Ventures is a Berlin-based pre-seed deeptech venture capital firm founded in 2019 by Dr Elad Verbin, Mick Halsband and Luis Shemtov. It backs highly technical founders from day zero across AI infrastructure, autonomy, applications and techbio, writing initial cheques of roughly EUR 750k to EUR 1m. The firm closed Fund I at EUR 40m in 2021 (2x oversubscribed on a EUR 20m target) and launched a EUR 50m Fund II in May 2025, deploying about 80 percent in Europe and 20 percent in underserved US regions.
