Possible Ventures is a Munich-based pre-seed and seed venture capital firm founded in 2013 by Australian serial entrepreneur Chris Hitchen (originally under the name Inventures, rebranded to Possible Ventures). The firm backs mission-driven teams using frontier technology across climate, energy, health and society, writing average tickets of EUR 250k-500k and taking small ownership stakes (around 5 percent) without board seats. It has raised three funds (a 2019 EUR 10m first fund, a 2021 EUR 60m second fund and a EUR 60m-target third fund from 2023), backing more than 130 portfolio companies globally, with a network of 200-plus LPs and 300-plus founders. Its best-known early win was a pre-seed cheque into Sorare, whose 2021 Series B repaid roughly half of the debut fund within twelve months.
