Oscar & Paul (Beiersdorf Venture Capital)
Oscar & Paul is the corporate venture capital arm of Hamburg-based skin care group Beiersdorf AG (NIVEA, Eucerin, La Prairie). Launched in 2020 with an initial EUR 50m fund, it takes minority stakes (typically up to 20%, initial tickets EUR 0.5-5m) in early- to growth-stage startups at the intersection of skin care across life science and biotech, sustainability, AI and digital health, mainly in Europe, North America and APAC. It has backed more than 15 companies since 2020 and realized exits including the full acquisition of S-Biomedic and the NYSE IPO of Evommune. In March 2026 Beiersdorf doubled the programme with a new EUR 100m Skin Care Innovation Fund.
