Entangled Capital SGR is a Milan-based independent private equity manager founded in 2019 that runs the EC I fund, taking control and co-control stakes in lower-mid-market Italian family-owned SMEs (revenues typically below about 50 million euros) across industrial, machinery, packaging and food niches, backing organic growth and buy-and-build. Its founding team previously managed four funds dedicated to Italian SMEs. EC I raised over 100 million euros and booked its first exit with the 2025 sale of pharma-glass platform Alphial to SGD Pharma.
