CornerstoneCapital is a Frankfurt/Heidelberg-based small-mid buyout and growth-capital investor founded in 2001 by former 3i executives Pieter van Halem and a partner, focused on technology and technology-related companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It backs management buyouts, buy-ins and growth situations with equity tickets of EUR 3-15 million in transactions up to EUR 50 million, and has invested in 25+ companies with 15+ exits across engineering, software/IT and medical technology. The firm currently manages about EUR 50 million of equity and can deploy more than EUR 120 million together with its co-investors across three successive funds.
