CBPE Capital LLP is a London-based lower and mid-market private equity firm founded in 1984 as Close Brothers Private Equity, becoming independent through a management buyout in 2008. It invests in primary buyouts of UK and Ireland companies with enterprise values of around GBP 25 million to GBP 150 million across business services, healthcare, technology, financial services, industrials and consumer sectors. CBPE closed its latest fund, CBPE Fund XI, at its GBP 714 million hard cap in March 2025, following Fund X (GBP 561 million, 2020) and Fund IX (GBP 459 million, 2016).
