Capital A Investment Partners (branded Capital A) is an Amsterdam-based lower-mid-market private equity firm founded in 2018 as an independent spin-out of ABN AMRO Participaties, the mid-market PE team that had invested within ABN AMRO since 1982. From offices in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Frankfurt it backs growth businesses across the Benelux and the DACH region, writing equity tickets of EUR 5 to 50 million and typically taking large-minority or small-majority stakes alongside management. The firm invests through a series of flagship buyout funds, most recently Capital A Fund V, which held an oversubscribed final close at EUR 515 million in May 2026, and in 2026 it also completed its first single-asset continuation fund for portfolio company De Jong Zuurmond. Its portfolio spans more than 30 companies concentrated in software, IT services, business services, healthcare and financial services. The manager Capital A Management B.V. is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK number 72667249 as an AIFM investment manager with restricted access.
