AURELIUS
Munich-based alternative investment group founded in 2005 by Dirk Markus and Gert Purkert, focused on corporate carve-outs, special situations and mid-market buyouts across Europe. Its former listed vehicle AURELIUS Equity Opportunities was delisted from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange at the end of 2023 and renamed AUR Portfolio III, and the group now invests through balance-sheet capital and the European Opportunities IV and Opportunities V funds alongside separate private debt and real estate platforms.
