Investment thesis

AURELIUS deploys capital through five plus active vehicles including AURELIUS PE Mid-Market, AURELIUS PE Growth, AURELIUS Private Debt, AURELIUS Real Estate and Wealth Management vehicles, targeting special situations and operational mid-market buyouts plus growth-stage and private debt. The platform has pivoted over the past decade from pure distressed toward healthier companies with operational improvement potential. Sector focus spans industrials, business services, chemicals, consumer products, technology and software and life sciences. Geographic deployment is across Europe and North America. The operational turnaround DNA combines with a 400 plus professional in-house value-creation team executing carve-outs from large corporates.

Recent realised exits include apparel and schoolwear (Trutex, 2025), industrial services (MUVIQ, 2024) and consumer (Deli Barn, 2024). Recent acquisitions include smart metering (Landis+Gyr EMEA, 2025), smart metering (Sensus International from Xylem, 2025), industrial batteries (FIAMM, 2025) and automotive components (CSP/Teijin Automotive, 2024).
