Global Founders Capital (GFC Global Founders Capital GmbH) is the Berlin-based, stage-agnostic venture capital platform of Rocket Internet, founded in 2013 by Oliver Samwer alongside Marc Samwer and former Delivery Hero co-founder Fabian Siegel. It backs technology founders globally from seed through growth, deploying two roughly one-billion-dollar funds into software, fintech, consumer and marketplace companies including Personio, Revolut, SumUp, HelloFresh, Traveloka, Ankorstore and Pennylane. Since 2024 the firm has scaled back third-party fundraising and now deploys capital from Rocket Internet's balance sheet as its venture arm, reflecting reduced but still active investing on an established track record.
