Cherry Ventures is a Berlin-headquartered early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2012 by former Zalando operators Filip Dames and Christian Meermann, typically backing European founders as their first institutional investor at pre-seed and seed. With offices in Berlin, London and Stockholm, the firm has raised a succession of funds (Cherry I through V) totalling well over EUR 1 billion, plus a dedicated crypto vehicle, and has seeded companies such as Auto1, FlixBus, Forto, Infarm, Flink and Proxima Fusion.
