Bertelsmann Investments is the corporate venture capital umbrella of German media and services group Bertelsmann, bundling the group's global VC funds (Bertelsmann Asia Investments, Bertelsmann India Investments, BDMI, futurepresent and Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments) plus its Bertelsmann Next buy-and-build unit. Since inception it has invested roughly EUR 2.3 billion across around 500 companies and funds, with 307 active investments at end-2025, spanning China, India, Europe, the US, Latin America and Southeast Asia. It is led by CEO Carsten Coesfeld and headquartered in Gutersloh.
