GESCO SE is a listed evergreen industrial holding based in Wuppertal that acquires, holds and develops profitable German Mittelstand companies under a lean holding structure. Founded in 1989 and IPO'd in 1998 (converted from AG to SE in 2023), it permanently owns majority (usually 100 percent) stakes in niche capital-goods, materials and healthcare-technology manufacturers organised into three segments: Materials Refinement and Distribution, Health Care and Life Science, and Industrial Assets and Infrastructure. FY2024 group equity was about 268.9 MEUR (equity ratio 62.3 percent) on total assets of 433.3 MEUR, with roughly 1,899 employees and FY2023 revenue of 560.7 MEUR.
