FLEX Capital is a Berlin-based operational private equity firm founded in 2018 by serial entrepreneurs Christoph Jost and Peter Waleczek, investing in profitable, bootstrapped software and tech companies in the German-speaking (DACH) mid-market with revenues of roughly EUR 5-50 million. Taking majority stakes and backing management with a 30-person operating team, the firm pursues buy-and-build platforms across vertical software niches. It has invested via two funds (EUR 126m Fund I in 2019 and EUR 300m Fund II) and has acquired more than a dozen software companies.
