Deutsche Bank Corporate Venture Capital is the strategic corporate venture capital arm of Deutsche Bank AG, headquartered in Frankfurt with a presence in Berlin and New York. Formalised as a dedicated cross-divisional CVC unit in 2022 and led by Joerg Landsch (Head of Central Corporate Venture Capital, who has run the bank's global corporate VC activity since 2020), it makes minority strategic equity investments from the bank's balance sheet into early-to-growth-stage (seed to Series C) enterprise-technology and fintech companies. The portfolio spans roughly 29 companies that use technology to support or enable banking and financial services or to increase the bank's own productivity, with priority themes in AI, ESG, cybersecurity, cloud software and the future of work. Notable holdings include Raisin, Traxpay, QPLIX, Proxymity, Symphony, Kodex AI, Plan A and Binalyze. It invests off balance sheet rather than through an external LP-backed fund vehicle.
