APEX Capital GmbH is a private, independent, owner-managed evergreen industrial holding founded in Berlin in 2006 by entrepreneur-investor Constantin Carsten. It acquires and long-term holds small and mid-sized German-speaking companies (revenue roughly 5-15m EUR) in special situations - unregulated successions, corporate carve-outs and reorganisations - investing its own capital with hands-on management rather than as a fund-based financial investor, explicitly without exit intentions (evergreen). Historic operating holdings spanned flat-glass processing (Flachglas Sachsen, Flachglas Suelzfeld), building services (Wiegmann), ambulatory care (ConCura), biomass power (Zapfendorf) and electrical equipment (Elektron-Bremen).
