Statkraft Ventures
Statkraft Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Statkraft ASA, the Norwegian state-owned group and Europe's largest producer of renewable energy. Launched in May 2015 and operationally headquartered in Dusseldorf (with an Oslo office), it backs energy and climate-tech entrepreneurs across Europe and North America through an International Fund and a Norway-focused seed fund, writing tickets from around EUR 3m to EUR 20m at Series A to growth stage. Its energy-market expertise and Statkraft's operational reach differentiate it from generalist funds. The team of eight is led by Managing Director Thor Olav Thorsnes Egeland.
