Stags Participations is the family-office private equity vehicle of Philippe Louis-Dreyfus and his children (Louis Dreyfus Armateurs maritime branch since 2007), founded in 2011 and headquartered at 21 Quai Gallieni in Suresnes near Paris. The firm operates through a series of SAS-vintage holding companies (Stags Participations I, II, III, IV, F, V-D) and invests its own family capital as a long-term minority co-investor alongside founders and leading private equity funds including Wendel, Ardian, AXA Private Equity, Parquest Capital, Bridgepoint and IK Partners. Stags targets companies with revenues above EUR 30M across six preferred sectors: industrials, healthcare, digital and IT services, business services, agro-food and education. The firm is led by Charlotte Lezius-Doncel (Founding Partner) with Ladislas Roche and Gregoire de Castelnau as Managing Directors and the Louis-Dreyfus family Investment Committee. Stags is NOT an AMF-regulated portfolio management company; it operates as an evergreen family holding without third-party LP fundraising. Notable exits include Arkadin (2014 NTT Communications EUR 350M Trade Sale), Sogelink (2016 Apax Partners Secondary), Believe (2021 IPO Euronext Paris), Domidep (2019 Maisons de Famille Secondary), EuroDommages (2025), Acquaviva and GES (2017-2021).
