Seed Capital is Denmark's leading seed-stage venture capital specialist with €200 million of cumulative assets across funds as of December 2024 (Fund IV at €140 million committed 2020 vintage), headquartered in Copenhagen at Højbro Plads 10. The firm was founded in December 2004 as a Danish seed-stage specialist and operates as a partner-owned independent VC. Managing Partner Christian Brøndum joined in 2023 from Planday. Investment thesis
Seed Capital deploys capital through four flagship funds (Seed Capital I through IV), targeting late seed to Series A investing in Nordic-based founders with €2-4 million initial tickets and follow-on capacity. Over 70% of portfolio companies advance from seed to Series A. Sector focus spans consumer, deep tech, enterprise, fintech and SaaS. Geographic deployment is anchored in the Nordics (Denmark core, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland coverage).
