Isartal Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Wort & Bild Verlag (publisher of Apotheken Umschau), founded in 2018 and based in Baierbrunn near Munich. Operating as an evergreen balance-sheet investor, it takes direct minority stakes in early-stage digital-health startups and established health companies across the DACH region, backing them with capital, editorial expertise and the reach of the group's health-media brands. It focuses on digital business models that strengthen local pharmacies and health literacy, and co-sponsors the 60 million euro NOVENTI/Isartal/URSAPHARM/DvH digital-health fund. A sister vehicle, Isartal Health Media, holds media and agency stakes. Notable investments include XO Life, ONVY, honic, DoctorBox, Onqo Health and Ninebarc.
