Finatem
Finatem is an independent, partner-managed private equity firm founded in Frankfurt in 2000 that acquires majority stakes in German-speaking-Europe Mittelstand companies via a discrete buyout fund series (Finatem II-IV). It targets succession, spin-off and growth situations at firms with roughly EUR 20-125m revenue, writing equity tickets of about EUR 10-25m, and has generated exits including the Derby Cycle and hGears IPOs and trade sales to strategic buyers such as SOCOTEC and Palfinger.
