Emblem is a Paris-based pan-European pre-seed and seed venture capital firm founded in October 2022 by Bénédicte de Raphélis Soissan and Guillaume Durao. Bénédicte previously founded HRTech startup Clustree which was acquired by Cornerstone OnDemand in 2020. Guillaume previously invested at Mangrove Capital Partners and Idinvest Partners / Eurazeo Ventures with twenty-plus years across M&A and venture capital. Emblem operates from 22 Boulevard Malesherbes in Paris 8e through a multi-entity structure including EMBLEM SAS (management company SIREN 920121084) and Emblem I SLP fund vehicle (SIREN 948997192). The flagship Fund I held a EUR 50M first close in March 2023 and reached EUR 80M final close in February 2025 anchored by Danish sovereign fund EIFO (formerly Vaekstfonden) Bpifrance Edenred Capital Partners and over two hundred limited partners more than half of which are tech entrepreneurs. The fund targets twenty-five to thirty investments at pre-seed and seed stage primarily in France Denmark Sweden and Italy writing tickets between EUR 0.5M and EUR 3M typically leading or co-leading rounds across B2B SaaS fintech marketplaces future of work AI infrastructure and deep tech.
