STIHL Ventures
STIHL Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of the STIHL Group (Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KG), the Waiblingen-based chainsaw and outdoor power-equipment maker. Launched in 2018 as STIHL Digital GmbH and later rebranded STIHL Ventures, it invests off the group balance sheet in seed to Series B startups across smart forestry, gardening and landscaping, agriculture technology, construction technology and sustainability, typically writing tickets of EUR 0.5-3 million for equity stakes of 10 percent or more. The unit combines direct equity investing with a venture clienting programme that pilots startup technology inside STIHL operations.
