About Slate VC

Slate VC is a French pan-European growth-stage climate-technology venture capital firm with €132 million of inaugural fund first-close commitments (February 2026, target €250 million), headquartered in Paris and regulated by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). The firm was founded in 2023 by four partners with venture capital, entrepreneurship and industrial strategy backgrounds, led by Renaud Visage (co-founder of Eventbrite), Chloé Giard, Sébastien Léger and Clément Buyse. Slate VC remains a partner-owned independent firm.

Investment thesis

Slate VC deploys growth-stage equity into European B2B climate-transition companies with strong commercial momentum, supporting international scale-up across a target portfolio of 15 to 20 companies.
