About EKA Ventures

EKA Ventures is the UK's largest early-stage impact venture capital firm with approximately $200 million of total assets across Fund I and Fund II as of December 2024 (Fund II $107 million / £80 million closed late 2024 / early 2025), headquartered in London. The firm was founded in 2018 by Jon Huggins and Camilla Richards and operates as a partner-owned independent FCA-regulated (FRN 848631) B Corp certified VC.

Investment thesis

EKA Ventures deploys capital through two flagship funds (Fund I 2020, Fund II 2024-2025), targeting pre-seed and seed-stage UK impact venture capital leading or co-leading 90% of deals with approximately $2 million average initial cheque across consumer-led mega trends spanning Life, Health and Sustainability. Sector focus spans consumer health and femtech, climate tech, sustainable supply chains, preventative healthcare, consumer goods and fintech and legaltech. Fund II plans up to 30 UK startups. Geographic deployment is UK-focused. The founder-aligned thought partner model provides strategic guidance beyond capital.
