CIC Private Debt is a Paris-based private debt manager and AMF-approved AIFM, part of Credit Mutuel Alliance Federale and its La Francaise asset-management arm. Founded in 2003 as CM-CIC Private Debt, it is a leading player in disintermediated financing for French and European SMEs and mid-caps. With around EUR 3.5 billion under management and 42 professionals across Paris, London and Frankfurt, it has completed more than 500 investments across four business lines: senior mid-cap debt, senior large-cap Europe debt, mezzanine and unitranche financing, and infrastructure debt. In 2025 it launched CIC Private Debt Opportunites, the first ELTIF 2.0 evergreen private debt fund approved in France. It ranks as a top direct lender in France by deal count.
