Certina Holding (branded CERTINA GROUP) is a Munich-area family industrial holding founded in 1997 by Dr. Hans Wehrmann and headquartered in Gruenwald. It invests off its own balance sheet as an evergreen holding, acquiring niche manufacturers and specialist businesses in special situations, carve-outs, turnarounds and restructurings, typically taking majority control of companies with 50 to 500 million euros of revenue. The group holds around 20 operating companies across industrials, packaging, automotive, consumer goods and services and software, generating over 750 million euros of sales with more than 3,000 employees, and has completed over 65 transactions in 25-plus years.
