Capnamic Ventures is an independent DACH early-stage venture capital firm with approximately €350 million of assets under management as of December 2024 (latest fund approximately €115 million), headquartered in Cologne with additional offices in Berlin and Munich. The firm was founded in 2013 and operates as a partner-owned independent VC backed by 100 plus LPs including founders and corporates (a multi-corporate LP base).

Investment thesis

Capnamic Ventures deploys capital through approximately three to four fund generations, targeting early-stage investments from Pre-Seed to Series A with hands-on operational support across finance, marketing and executive hiring. Sector focus spans B2B software and SaaS, enterprise tech, digital platforms, fintech and deep tech and AI (sector-agnostic within tech). Geographic deployment is anchored in Germany and the German-speaking DACH region with selective international exposure. The VC-next-door positioning emphasises founder-empathetic, mentorship-led backing of category leaders from inception.

Recent realised exits include document-scanning software (2025) and circular-commerce and retail tech (2025), plus earlier fitness app and adtech exits. Recent acquisitions include approximately 8 new investments in the trailing 12 months across seed and Series A B2B software (2024-2025).
