Tresmares Capital
Tresmares Capital is a Madrid-based alternative asset manager launched in 2020 with the backing of Banco Santander, which acquired an 89.9 percent majority stake in 2025. The firm serves high-growth Spanish and European SMEs across four lines: direct lending, minority growth equity, fund of funds and fund financing. Its private equity arm continues the growth-capital strategy of the former Q-Growth team, active since 2015, taking mostly minority stakes with tickets of roughly EUR 7-25M in companies with up to about EUR 25M of EBITDA, and has expanded from Spain into Portugal, the UK and Germany.
