Roko AB is a Stockholm-based perpetual owner founded in 2019 by Fredrik Karlsson, the former CEO of Lifco, and Tomas Billing, which acquires majority stakes in small and medium-sized profitable niche market leaders across Europe and holds them permanently under a decentralised, Lifco-style model. It invests equity from its own listed balance sheet rather than through closed-end funds and never divests, and it began trading on Nasdaq Stockholm in March 2025. Johan Bladh became CEO in 2025 while Karlsson continues as Deputy CEO and chairman of the investment committee, with the group spanning around 35 operating subsidiaries.
