Investment thesis
Funding London deploys capital through approximately three to four funds (Greater London Investment Fund £100 million, London Co-Investment Fund plus loan sub-funds), targeting fund-of-funds and co-investment that deploys venture equity and SME loan capital into early-stage London businesses to bridge the funding gap, with emphasis on backing underrepresented founders. Sector focus spans fintech, AI and generative AI, energy efficiency and cleantech, supply chain tech, deep tech and software. Geographic deployment is Greater London only. The platform channels public capital and crowds in private co-investment for capital-constrained London startups.
