EDF Pulse Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of EDF Group (Electricite de France SA, French state-owned electricity utility around EUR 80bn revenue), investing strategic minority tickets of EUR 2 to 5M in Series A and B startups across energy transition, decarbonization, low-carbon hydrogen, carbon accounting, water tech, biodiversity, and industrial digitalization. Launched December 2017 from holding entity EDF Pulse Holding SAS (Neuilly-sur-Seine, SIREN 824580013, capital EUR 436.9M) under President Julien Villeret and Head Yann Coic, EDF Pulse Ventures has deployed around EUR 540M into roughly 25 active and exited European and North American companies. Notable 2024-2025 exits include Zenpark to Yespark, Ekoscan LBO to France Nucleaire 2 fund, SECLAB Trade Sale and partial-exit Exaion (64 percent stake sold to MARA Holdings for USD 168M Q4 2025).
