Ama Capital
Ama Capital is a London-based lower mid-market private equity firm founded in 2024 by Miles Otway and Ed Ransome, both formerly of Connection Capital. It operates as an operator-led independent sponsor, raising equity deal-by-deal from institutional LPs, family offices and other sophisticated investors and investing off bespoke vehicles rather than a committed blind-pool fund, with equity cheques up to GBP 25m in profitable UK SMEs across Financial and Professional Services, Specialist Engineering and Industrials, and Business Services. It is an FCA Appointed Representative of Langham Hall Fund Management LLP. In December 2025 it completed its maiden investment, backing the management buyout of The Vella Group, one of the UK's fastest growing automotive accident-repair groups, alongside Keyhaven Capital Partners.
