Sopromec Participations is a French capital-investment company founded January 1964 in Paris (SIREN 642047161 SA legal form HQ 30 rue de Gramont 75002 Paris). One of the historical pioneers of French capital-investissement, the firm has financed several hundred SMEs across six decades and 500+ lifetime deals with around 38 active companies. Since 2006 Sopromec is owned 100 percent by Pelican Venture (the Gorge family holding company) which also controls sister entities Promelys Participations (AMF-regulated FCPR FCPI and FIP fund manager) and Fondelia (micro-equity). Sopromec invests its own balance-sheet capital around EUR 25M deploying minority equity tickets of EUR 100k to 500k (up to EUR 1M with co-investors) as a multi-sector generalist across metropolitan France in capital developpement and capital transmission. Notable confirmed exits include Cimes 2017 to Cegos, Ordinal Software 2022 to Codra, Hydeclim 2023 to Sonepar, Récif 2024 to Yotta Capital Partners and Logitrade 2021 MBO to management.
