Rubicon Partners is a London-based lower-mid-market private equity firm founded in 1993 that specialises in control buyouts, corporate carve-outs and turnarounds of complex industrial businesses in manufacturing, engineering, distribution and services. It takes a hands-on operational approach to companies with enterprise values of roughly GBP 10 million to GBP 200 million across the United Kingdom and Europe. Having invested deal-by-deal for most of its history, the firm raised its first institutional fund (Rubicon Partners V) in 2022 and a second (Rubicon Partners VI) which closed in 2025, with Connection Capital among its investors. It reports around USD 413 million of capital under management.
