Norvestor Equity is a 30-year Nordic mid-cap private equity specialist with approximately €5.2 billion of committed capital across advised and managed funds as of December 2024, headquartered in Oslo with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Luxembourg and London. The firm was founded in 1989 with the core team having worked together since 1991, making it one of the most experienced Nordic PE teams. Investment thesis

Norvestor Equity deploys capital through approximately nine funds (Norvestor IX is the current flagship plus continuation vehicles and SPVs), targeting mid-cap buyouts with a Buy & Build philosophy in portfolio companies typically generating €20-300 million revenue over 4-6 year holds. Sector focus spans tech-enabled services, business services, industrial solutions and services, software and IT services, maritime and industrial and property services. Geographic deployment is anchored in the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland). The platform builds regional champions through heavy follow-on M&A.

Recent realised exits include IT services (2025) and residential property maintenance services (2025, via continuation vehicle). Recent acquisitions include a maritime steering-gear and rudder business carve-out (2025), electronics manufacturing services (2025) and water and utility tech (2024).
