Columbus Venture Partners
Columbus Venture Partners is a Spanish life-sciences venture capital firm founded in 2016 by Damia Tormo and Javier Garcia and headquartered in Valencia, with offices in Madrid and San Sebastian. It is one of Spain's largest biotechnology investors, backing therapeutics, advanced therapies, medtech and healthtech companies across Spain, Europe, Israel and the United States, and it pairs seed-stage therapeutic investment with building industrial infrastructure such as AAV gene-therapy manufacturing. The firm manages a family of five Columbus Life Sciences funds, the latest of which raised 210 million euros in 2026, and its track record includes exits to Bayer, Pfizer, Vifor Pharma and a Nasdaq IPO.
