About Coeli Private Equity

Coeli Private Equity is the private equity fund-of-funds arm of Coeli, the Stockholm-based asset manager. The Coeli group was founded in 1994 and private equity has been part of Coeli's investment strategy since 2006, with the parent group managing more than SEK 70 billion. The Coeli Private Equity vehicles (including Coeli Private Equity AB / CPE I) are listed on the Nordic Growth Market (NGM), giving retail and private investors tradable access to a diversified Nordic buyout fund-of-funds portfolio.

Investment thesis

Coeli Private Equity deploys capital through multiple Coeli Private Equity vehicles (CPE I and successor programmes), targeting fund-of-funds investing in Nordic venture and buyout funds focused on small and medium-sized companies, with positions typically sold on after approximately 5 years of ownership. Sector deployment is sector-diversified through underlying Nordic SME funds spanning industrials, technology, business services, consumer and healthcare. Geographic deployment is the Nordic region with primary focus on the Nordic buy-out segment. The platform gives retail and private investors listed, tradable access to a diversified Nordic buyout fund-of-funds portfolio normally reserved for institutions.

Recent activity

As a fund-of-funds platform, realisations flow through underlying Nordic funds and are not disclosed at vehicle level for 2024-2026. Recent acquisitions include new underlying Nordic fund commitments through the CPE programme (2024-2025). The platform continues active deployment across the Nordic buyout fund-of-funds mandate. Detailed buyer names and multiple data available on Pro at €29/month.
