Antler is the world's most active early-stage venture capital firm with over $1 billion of global assets under management as of December 2024, headquartered in Singapore with a Nordic hub in Stockholm. The firm was founded in 2017 by Magnus Grimeland (Norwegian) and Fridtjof Berge, operating a founder-platform residency model across 30 cities and 6 continents. Investment thesis

Antler deploys capital through approximately 25 regional fund vehicles plus the Antler Elevate growth fund ($285 million), with Asia-Pacific vehicles approximately $200 million and Southeast Asia Fund II at $72 million. The investment thesis is a day-zero / pre-seed residency programme that backs individual founders before they have a team or idea, followed by follow-on Seed and Series A cheques via Antler Elevate. Sector focus spans AI, fintech, SaaS, climate, healthtech and commerce, with geographic deployment across Singapore HQ plus strong Nordic, DACH, UK, US, India and MENA presence. The platform is the fastest-growing AI portfolio with a new AI startup added every 9 days in Europe in 2025.

Recent activity

Realised exits remain limited as the early-stage portfolio is still maturing. Recent investments include AI and productivity (Lovable seed, 2024), AI and search (Peec.AI, 2025), eSIM travel (Airalo follow-on, 2024), AI writing (Wrtn, 2024), 14 UK AI startups across the Spring 2025 cohort and the €30 million European residency programme CE:ONE launched September 2025.
