Auriga Partners is a Paris-based, AMF-regulated venture capital and growth equity firm founded in June 1998 by Bernard Daugeras, Jacques Chatain, Patrick Bamas and Patricia Roisain, holding AMF licence GP98020. The firm is led by Antonio Calvisi (President of the supervisory board), Sebastien Descarpentries (President of the management board, joined 1999), Jacques Chatain (CEO, co-founder), Geoffroy Rosset (Partner, joined 2017), Celine Lippi (Partner, co-founder of Luxury Tech Fund and Cuir Invest) and Philippe Desmarescaux (VP). Auriga manages around EUR 435M across more than eight funds and a 27-year track record: generalist FCPI vehicles Auriga I (1999), Auriga II (2003), Auriga III (2007) and Auriga IV (2013), plus thematic funds Scientipole Capital (2006, Paris-Saclay deep-tech seed), Luxury Tech Fund (2017, luxury, fashion, beauty and retail VC), Cuir Invest (2019, a EUR 5M leather and luxury FPCI co-managed with Societe Internationale du Cuir and sponsored by Conseil National du Cuir), Auriga Cyber Ventures (August 2021, EUR 50M cybersecurity seed fund) and AOC Auriga Opportunite Cyber (2022, single-asset cyber vehicle). The firm has financed more than 120 companies with 50 confirmed exits, including Neolane, sold to Adobe in July 2013 for USD 600M with a 33x return, Vade Secure, sold to Hornetsecurity in March 2024, and Nexthink, a majority sale to Vista Equity Partners at a USD 3B valuation announced in October 2025 and closing in Q1 2026, the largest secondary exit in the firm's history; co-shareholders in Nexthink include Permira, Highland Europe and Index Ventures. Auriga runs dual venture and growth equity strategies across software, cybersecurity, healthcare, biotech, industrials and luxury consumer brands.
