Advantage Investment Partners A/S is a Copenhagen-headquartered multi-manager investment firm specialising in private-equity and infrastructure fund-of-funds and club-deal structures. Headquartered at Bredgade 40 in Copenhagen, the firm was founded in 2018 by Anders Dalhoff and a team of former partners from PKA AIP (the alternatives arm of Danish pension fund PKA), where they had collectively invested over USD 5.5 billion in private equity and infrastructure on behalf of Danish institutional investors. In December 2022 the firm was acquired by Germany-listed real-asset manager PATRIZIA SE, which valued Advantage at approximately USD 1.2 billion in fee-earning assets under management at acquisition. Advantage continues to operate from its Copenhagen base under the Advantage brand as a complementary multi-manager unit within PATRIZIA, with Anders Dalhoff remaining as Founder and Managing Partner. The firm reports collaborating with more than 650 underlying investors and managing commitments of more than DKK 15 billion (approximately €2 billion) across global infrastructure and private equity. Structurally, Advantage runs two parallel platforms: traditional fund-of-funds programmes (currently four US-focused private-equity programmes) and the Nordic Investment Club (a club-deal structure with six investment vehicles serving roughly 30 professional Nordic institutional investors).
Advantage Investment Partners operates a balance-sheet light multi-manager model with two complementary strategies. The private-equity fund-of-funds programmes typically invest with four to six top-tier general partners per programme, focused on developed-market buyout and growth strategies. The Nordic Investment Club, the firm signature offering, aggregates Nordic institutional capital into co-investment club structures targeting a single fund manager per club, allowing club members to negotiate size-related fee discounts, preferred co-investment terms, LPAC representation and stronger governance and ESG terms than any single LP could secure individually. Sector and asset-class focus spans global infrastructure equity (core and core+) and private equity, with North American buyout as a major theme alongside European exposure and selective Asian allocations. Tickets are tailored: the firm serves Nordic institutional investors (pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign-linked entities), international high-net-worth individuals, family offices, banks and corporates. More than 20 Nordic institutions have committed more than USD 2 billion through Advantage club vehicles to date. Geographic reach extends from the Nordic core outward through the PATRIZIA integration. Value creation is intermediation-led: Advantage edge is sourcing access to top-decile general partners at discounted terms, structuring efficient pooling vehicles, and applying institutional-grade due-diligence and reporting processes.
