AUM (Assets Under Management)
AUM · The total market value of assets that a fund manager oversees on behalf of investors. In PE, AUM typically refers to committed capital across active funds.
Example
A PE platform managing four active funds totalling €5B in committed capital reports €5B of AUM. Annual management fees during the investment period typically run at 1.5% to 2% of AUM.
