About Evesio

Evesio, formerly the Centres de Medecine Nucleaire (CMN) group, is a Meaux-based operator of a private network of nuclear medicine centres in France, providing diagnostic imaging built around positron emission tomography (PET, marketed as TEPscan) and scintigraphy for cardiology, oncology and inflammatory disease. The group runs roughly ten specialised sites concentrated in the Ile-de-France region, with further centres in Grand Est (Epinal) and Nouvelle-Aquitaine (La Rochelle and Niort). It positions itself as a leading independent private platform in French nuclear medicine, emphasising equal access to care and accepting patients regardless of financial circumstances. The group holds ISO 9001 certification and Great Place to Work accreditation, and the Evesio name, adopted in late 2023, honours George de Hevesy, a pioneer of radioactive tracers.

Ownership journey

Evesio traces its origins to 1994, when physicians founded the first nuclear medicine centre in the Paris region under the CMN banner, and the group has since grown toward its thirtieth year of operation. The business was backed by the Paris private equity firm MBO Plus, through its MBO+ Buyout VI fund, which supported the consolidation of independent nuclear medicine practices into a single platform. MBO Plus remains an active shareholder and the investment is still held, with no exit or secondary transaction recorded. The sponsor has backed a management team including Thomas Poisson, Fabrice Gutman and Jean-Marc Esnault, with Xavier de Prevoisin named on the MBO Plus side of the deal.

Under PE ownership

Under MBO Plus ownership the group rebranded from CMN to Evesio in late 2023 and accelerated a buy-and-build strategy across French nuclear medicine, combining organic expansion with strategic acquisitions. It integrated the Epinal centre (CIMS) located within the Clinique La Ligne Bleue and opened a new site in January 2024 at the Hopital Prive Claude Galien in Quincy-sous-Senart, while adding a Paris 13e centre inside the Hopital Prive des Peupliers. The group also invested in equipment, installing a new Siemens Biograph Horizon PET-CT camera at its Meaux centre to enable faster acquisitions and new protocols. This expansion widened the network toward roughly ten specialised sites and extended coverage beyond Ile-de-France into Grand Est and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, broadening access to advanced diagnostics.
